Starting Filming

Today we started filming some of the footage for our music video. We organized with Louise a few weeks ago that we would begin to film today. We reviewed the storyboard several times, but in the end when it came down to framing each shot we made little changes to each scene. As  whilst filming we discovered that some scenes and shots did not work out as well as we planned. We took photographs of each room we filmed in so that if we were to film in that room again we could avoid any issues with continuity. 


We also photographed our characters in dress, so that when we film again on another day we can look back at the images in order to keep everything consistent, rather than having a part of clothing thats different or even a change of hairstyle. 

The first scene that we decided to film was the 'Argument/Kiss Scene'. We decided to film this scene first as the actors felt a little awkward, so we thought that it is best to get it filmed and out of the way. We recorded the scene multiple times in order to see what shot worked best with the lighting and style of framing.
