Beginning our Digipak - Digipak Template

After me and my partner has a discussion about the layout of our Digipak, we decided that we wanted our Digipak to have 6 panels, as we thought this would look better than just 4 panels. We were unsure whether to create a physical Digipak or just to create a computer replicated one on the Macs. We were struggling with how to present our Digpak, so in order to solve this problem, we researched the internet to see if there were any templates or online applications that would help us design our Digipak.

The best website that we found was this website below:

This screenshot above shows the webpage that the link will take you too. It featured several different template designs, but because me and my partner decided on the 6 panelled template this is the template that we downloaded into a PDF.  I have highlighted the template that we are going to use. This will help us extremely in the construction of our Digipak.

Because we decided that we are going to create our Digipak on the macs, we viewed the programs that we could use to create our Digipak. They varied from Microsoft Powerpoint, Microsoft Word, Microsoft Publisher, and Adobe Fireworks. After viewing these programs we thought that Fireworks would be the best to use as it has more features than the other programs.
